In footwear department is the 1st and utmost important section is the designing section. The designing section is been handled by experienced faculties including some trained in abroad with the latest knowledge of design forecasting and marketing trends. The students have to undergo some basic styles like derby, oxford, pump shoe etc. |

 The student has to undergo the pre-training exercises where he makes himself handling the knife and cutting the sharp corners and curves. The students will be trained to cut the articles of the upper and lining components with standard measurements. The other models like moccasin, strobel, stitchdown, sancrispino etc. After preparing the patterns of the articles the same will be tested on the materials to confirm the perfection of the pattern preparation. |

| The Institute possess the state of art ShoeCAD system, through which the students are trained the advanced technology. The Institute is well equipped library consisting of world reputed Designing magazines such as ARS Sutoria, Insight, etc. |

| The Institute encourages students to participate in National and International Design competitions and our students have won several awards both in National and International arena. This motivates the students in their self development. |
